Closure is easier when the path is visible
A team may make a decision and move on while one person continues to worry about the issue. They may still be trying to understand the reasoning, remaining risks, or what would cause the decision to change.
Document the decision boundary
Important decisions should state what was decided, why, what risks remain, who owns the next step, and when the decision will be reviewed. This does not keep every discussion open indefinitely; it makes the route to closure clear.
