Why this matters

Change is part of work. But sudden or poorly explained change can create unnecessary stress and confusion.

Supportive change management does not mean avoiding change. It means making the transition understandable.

Better change communication

When something changes, explain:

  • What changed
  • Why it changed
  • What stays the same
  • What should stop
  • What should start
  • What the next step is

Try this next

When changing a priority, say clearly: “Stop this, continue this, start this.”
