Forgetting Names Does Not Mean Forgetting People
Why name and face recognition should not be treated as a measure of respect or interest.

Recognition is not the same as caring
Some people have difficulty connecting a face with the correct name or context, especially after meeting several people quickly or encountering someone outside their usual setting. They may remember the conversation and role while still struggling to retrieve the name.
Make introductions easier
Use visible names, include names and roles in email signatures, and reintroduce yourself without embarrassment. Name recall is not a reliable measure of respect, intelligence, or teamwork.
